Social Action Project

Social Action Projects are all about giving back to the community. These projects show us how important it is to be involved, take responsibility, and find ways to make a real difference. Our projects often involve collaboration with local organizations, strengthening community ties, and emphasizing that education is not just about personal growth but also about contributing to the betterment of society.

Killcare Landcare                                         June, 2023

Bitou bush is an invasive plant species native to South Africa, which spreads rapidly along coastal areas in Australia, crowding out native plants and disrupting local ecosystems. To help control its spread and support the growth of native species, we organized a group of students to cut down Bitou bush in Killcare. By removing this invasive plant, we created more space and resources for native plants to thrive, helping to restore balance in the environment and protect biodiversity.

Aged Care                                          November, 2023

During my visit to a retirement village, I got the chance to connect with the residents through activities like games, crafts, and casual conversations. Listening to their life stories and hearing about the challenges and joys they'd experienced gave me a whole new perspective. It was a powerful reminder of the value of connecting across generations and learning from people who have seen so much of life.
